Who I am
My name is Treshawn Roberts. I am originally from Auburn Washington, where I went to high school at Thomas Jefferson Highschool. I have played football my entire life and got recruited to play football all the way in Madison, South Dakota. I hadn’t even done much track up until a couple of years into college when I decided to hang up the helmet and walked on to the track team. After that, I found love for the sport, and on top of that, a lot of success.
Just a quick explanation of my accolades: I am a 6-time All-American and a 3-time national runner-up in the heptathlon/decathlon. I was the Dakota State University Men’s Athlete of the Year three times, as well as the NSAA Conference MVP twice and NSAA Conference Field Athlete of the Year 3 times. At my last outdoor nationals, I scored 7271 points, which is just 80 points off of the US Trials standard; just over a 1% improvement on my personal best needed to meet that standard.
Currently, I am volunteer coaching at Dakota State University. I am working with the other multi-event athletes and the pole vaulters, all while working out alongside the athletes to improve myself.
